The Perfect Pocket Monster Tales: Z-A Super Form Based on the Astrological Sign
The return of Mega Evolutions in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has ignited immense enthusiasm across the community. Starting with the one-by-one reveal of fresh additions ahead of the game's release, to trainers forming firm views on the entire lineup of Mega Evolutions, there's a lot for fans to look forward to.
Given many of the Super Forms showcasing distinctive designs that emphasize their traits, one idea naturally: What's the best way to connect this with astrology? This list is based on a blend of intuition, common zodiac traits, and individual observations.
Aries – Mega Camerupt
Honestly, Houndour's evolution was almost chosen for this fire sign, as they are the Mega Pokémon and zodiac symbol that evoke the most fear. But, a Super Houndoom comes across as constantly furious, which isn't typical of the Aries vibe, known for being playful, cheerful, and spontaneous. That's why the Ram much more similar to Mega Camerupt, which only erupts when provoked. Stay on the good side of both and benefit from a strong partner; if you cross them, be ready to face the consequences.
Taurus – Mega Heracross
Similar to a loyal Taurus, the steadfast Heracross, whether in its standard and Super Form, has assisted many players in Legends: Z-A. Though trustworthy, each the creature and a Bull are also battle-oriented, and – whether it's their trainer or a firm belief – will defend their side to the end. What about Super Heracross that recalls most of my Taurus friends, though, is its unabashed love of treats. Several previous official descriptions note their fondness for tasty tree sap and how it employs its appendage to collect it all, which is true Taurus energy.
Gemini – Mega Medicham
Observe this total royalty. It's impossible to tell me this Pokémon is not the soul of any gathering, offering an endless fountain of gossip to anyone who wish to listen. Much like an enrapturing, sociable Twins, it's very simple to imagine Mega Medicham captivating an entire open area with their stories. This Pokémon's official description also mentions its capacity to predict an opponent's future actions, which seems very similar to a people-smart Twins.
Cancer – Super Manectric
Cancer is widely regarded as the most emotional sign of the zodiac, a passionate sign known for often getting wrapped up in their feelings. Per the official info, Mega Evolution fills the Pokémon with a “huge quantity of electricity, but it's excessive for Manectric to fully manage,” which sounds a lot like a typical Crab crash-out. It is also recognized for its capability to create a storm cloud over its very head – and if there’s one thing a Cancer is likely to do, it’s rain on their good time.
The Lion – Mega Starmie
Well, did you think I was planning to select Pyroar for the lion of the zodiac? Besides the reality that it would be far too on the nose, Leo is obviously Mega Starmie, the star whose legs just went viral for being extremely fabulous (or horrifying, depending on your taste). Fans were captivated from the purple sea star, and that’s exactly the identical energy a Lion offers to the table. This Pokémon is also said to be transmitting signals from its red core out into space, and it’s just like a Leo to be putting on a performance, even if for aliens.
The Maiden – Mega Victreebel
The ever-prepared and perpetually-anxious Maiden is ideally encapsulated in Mega Victreebel, the Super Form with perpetual acid reflux. The sign known for being charmingly judgmental is strongly mirrored across this creature's entire evolutionary chain, from a always surprised expression like a Maiden when you tell them you lack a 401(k), to its inverted visage that’s similar to the emoji a Virgo sends to the chatroom when all says they want to “go with the flow” rather than creating a plan.
Libra – Super Audino
Observe this sweet, sensitive creature, who uses the feelers on its ears to detect how people are emotionally by their heartbeat. Always compassionate – occasionally to a fault – and trying to maintain the harmony, there are many Scales who would probably appreciate Mega Audino’s abilities. Though, let’s be honest, it would likely just cause them to worry even more about everyone else.
Scorpio – Super Banette
This Ghost-type is a creature with a unexpectedly tragic backstory: Discarded as a toy, it became consciousness through pure hatred and vowed revenge on its former owner. According to the Pokédex, Super Evolution, “increases its spitefulness.” That sounds exactly like several conversations I’ve had with my intense Scorpion acquaintances. A Scorpio loves karma and comeuppance, making them the ideal pair with Mega Banette.
Sagittarius – Super Hawlucha
Each Super Hawlucha and Archers are always putting on a performance. Being a Archer myself, the amount of times I’ve referred to myself some version of a “playful small entertainer” is countless. The most flamboyant and most obnoxious Mega Evolution, its Pokédex entry even mentions how it “poses to display its strength.” I would do the exact same thing if I had some kind of Mega evolved form, making Mega Hawlucha the most apt Archer counterpart I can think of.
The Goat – Super Absol
Were you aware that a Super Absol has the power to foresee calamities in advance? That exudes the identical energy as a Goat, who tends to consistently think they’re correct. Interestingly, similar to a prophetic Mega Absol, they often are. It’s also the absolute initial Mega Evolution that players encounter in Legends: Z-A – just like a Capricorn to join the beginning of the Mega trend.
The Water Bearer – Super Chandelure
Detached element Water Bearer is arguably the non-flame placement that is closest to a fire sign – its sister sign is the Lion, and there are numerous jokes about Sagittarius and Aquarius being unpredictable accomplices. Mega Chandelure’s double Ghost/Fire category fits seamlessly with this, and the Super Form's general daunting presence is also extremely Aquarius. If you weren’t already convinced, the Mega’s description says it “draws in hatred and converts it into strength.” If that doesn’t exactly {encaps
